Wedding and jewelry - Inspiration is everything.

Monday, July 16, 2012

Today I'm going to be quite quick... I mean probably it won't be my longest blog post ever... ;)

I'd like to share with you pictures with some small notes under each - how we communicated and inspired each other with Agnes (my frind, a bride). So, here is a photo-report about this process. Enjoy! <3

1) This pic is about some white & clear stuffs I had and thought would matching with Agnes' look.

2) This pair of earrings which I created and thought will fit for her. Then she thought it would be too much as she already made up her mind to have a necklace as well - not only a pair of earrings as told in the begining... Although she loved the style of this chandelier.

3) Something like this pair of earrings was her first idea to wear but... her dress was more matt than shiny, so decided to preferably have more paerls than more sparkly crystals.

4) On this pic you can see an idea for combination of pearls and crystals. But as we finally agreed she needed more chandelier-like earrings. Hihihhi...

5) On this last pic you can see their big day, happy married couple with champagne after the ceremony. <3

Of course you can find Agnes wearing her (final) bridal jewelry set. I've forgot to take a photo of the set - please don't ask why... I don't really have a reason for it. Hihi ;)

Living happily ever after.
Enjoy your day!

Earrings, earrings, earrings...

Saturday, July 14, 2012

Hi,
To be honest my favorite jewelry category is not an is, but are earrings! ; )))
So, what does it mean to me? It means that I love the most to wear & create earrings the most! <3
Wonder if you have the same feelings... Perhaps, you're a ring-maniac or a bracelet-fan or necklace-crazy type? It is all OK! I can understand your feelings then!

Yes, there is one more thing I didn't mention: all jewelry-lovers. Well, they could "eat" anything what sparkling actually! They have the hardest project! Hihi... They never can get enough jewelry. I mean they have not only a list, but a huge circle about the next jewelry they need. Woohoo, lucky me!

As a jeweler I've met some "all jewelry crazy" girls, women, chicks, ladies - and can tell you, they're adorable! It could be so sweet when one of them appologies about they have choosen a whole set, not only one piece of jewelry! Really adorable when they try on them and got that stary eyes.

Perhaps I have mentioned already, I have a newbie project: I design & create wedding jewelry. That gives me so much. Actually I'm inspired by a pretty bridal dress, a beautiful bridal bouquet, a place where a wedding will be and most of all a happy engaged couple.

I show you some of them:

White roses bouquet by Morgan Hill Designs

Asymmetrical bridal dress by Pronovias

Happy engaged couple by real life. :)

What you can see on this 3rd pic is the main point of the inspiration. She wored my bridal jewelry set on her big day. I can tell you in this project everything started w/ earrings on my side... What a surprise?!

She had the dress you can see upper and she planned to have a full white bouquet - not that one up there but something like that.

Next time I'll tell you how it was: planing, trying, creating  a handmade jewelry set for her big day.
Enjoy your day!
xoxo

Hi World! :)

Dorottya is a newbie on Etsy.

Come & visit! ✿

About me:

✿ Dorottya is a lucky girl. When she was 7 years old she already knew she'll be a jeweller. At primary school she had a task: "Write down what you would like to be in the future!". She did. Jeweller. "Easy task." - she thought. Her teacher told one is not enough... "Write at least one more profession!". "Ooops! Now this is a really hard task for me..." - she felt. So, she wrote something, but deep inside she knew the other one doesn't count, it is only for this school-thing...

✿ Now she is making jewelry, mostly earrings. To be honest, she LOVES earrings. And necklaces as well. Earrings are always her No. 1.

✿ Bridal jewelry-creating started a few month ago for her, as 2 of her friends planed to getting married... When she received the invitation one thing was on her mind: what should she give them as a wedding gift? After chatting with the bride (Agnes) - she told everything about her dress and hair style plans - Dorottya decided to design a set for Agnes. She is a fresh wife already and was wearing her SenoritaJoya's earrings and necklace proudly on her big day. ♥
Living happily ever after.

Have fun!
xoxo
