All you can see on these pictures above, available in my Etsy shop.  :)

Did you know about Pearl?

Pearls are categorized as organic gem material and are amongst the oldest of precious gems. In history pearls have been very valuable, second only to the diamond. The first record of the use of pearls in history is the fishing of the famous orient Basra pearl around the year 300 B.C.

Pearl is used to remove the evil effects of moon and it strengthens the mind and increases good sleep and cures insomnia. It is said to bestow the wearer with a good memory, cure uterine disorders, heart trouble, eye diseases, hysteria and pleurisy. It is also believed to increases sexual strength and makes conjugal life happy, removes melancholy and increases fortune. The gem must me mainly made in silver jewelry.

White or Cream is the color that comes to the mind when the word pearl is uttered. There are the rosée pearls that come in tints of pink, silver and white. Some of these may even have a yellowish tinge. The other fancy colors available in the market are yellow, bronze (champagne color pearl), gunmetal black, rose- pink, brown (chocolate color pearl), green and blue.

p.s.: I'm planing to have a giveaway in July. I think it would be nice if the award would be a pearly jewelry. What do you think?

You can write some comments if you'd have something on your mind... <3

Enjoy your day!

Earrings, earrings, earrings...

Saturday, July 14, 2012

Hi,
To be honest my favorite jewelry category is not an is, but are earrings! ; )))
So, what does it mean to me? It means that I love the most to wear & create earrings the most! <3
Wonder if you have the same feelings... Perhaps, you're a ring-maniac or a bracelet-fan or necklace-crazy type? It is all OK! I can understand your feelings then!

Yes, there is one more thing I didn't mention: all jewelry-lovers. Well, they could "eat" anything what sparkling actually! They have the hardest project! Hihi... They never can get enough jewelry. I mean they have not only a list, but a huge circle about the next jewelry they need. Woohoo, lucky me!

As a jeweler I've met some "all jewelry crazy" girls, women, chicks, ladies - and can tell you, they're adorable! It could be so sweet when one of them appologies about they have choosen a whole set, not only one piece of jewelry! Really adorable when they try on them and got that stary eyes.

Perhaps I have mentioned already, I have a newbie project: I design & create wedding jewelry. That gives me so much. Actually I'm inspired by a pretty bridal dress, a beautiful bridal bouquet, a place where a wedding will be and most of all a happy engaged couple.

I show you some of them:

White roses bouquet by Morgan Hill Designs

Asymmetrical bridal dress by Pronovias

Happy engaged couple by real life. :)

What you can see on this 3rd pic is the main point of the inspiration. She wored my bridal jewelry set on her big day. I can tell you in this project everything started w/ earrings on my side... What a surprise?!

She had the dress you can see upper and she planned to have a full white bouquet - not that one up there but something like that.

Next time I'll tell you how it was: planing, trying, creating  a handmade jewelry set for her big day.
Enjoy your day!

Bright Summer days?

Thursday, July 12, 2012

Hi,
I'm planing to make some photos of newly finished earrings & necklaces today. Sun is shining, so it is a good day for this kind of activity. Yuppie!

I've finished one, it is a pretty purple & white bridesmaid jewelry, OK I show you:

You'll find this sweetie  in my "Wedding earrings" shop section:

Well, I have to take a short break w/ my picture making stuff, as somebody rings our bell.
We expect two visitors.
Telling you why:

This summer is a strange one: Monday raining 16 C, Tuesday cloudy 21 C, Wednesday sunny 30 C - rather say it's spring. My favorite season is spring, so it isn't a complain anyway!

The apartment where I live together w/ my honey has many-many windows, lucky we!!! We have bright livingroom and kitchen as well. We can see big green trees all around: chestnut w/ lovely pinkish white flowers (now they're gone and it's full w/ green leaves). To be honest it was one of the main points when we started to rent our place: green, calm, bright surroundings.

We had some rainy days. Once we were hearing drop-drop-drop. After tirckling sound. We didn't have a clue where is it come from. Then we figured out there is a fault on a window's edge - outside...
Now here is a handyman w/ the owner of the flat. Two men. I think there will be many things to repair on windows... I can think about only that everything will be quick and smooth w/ this repairing stuff.

Please-please let it be.

Enjoy your day!
xoxo

Hi World! :)

Wednesday, July 11, 2012

Dorottya is a newbie on Etsy.

Come & visit! ✿

About me:

✿ Dorottya is a lucky girl. When she was 7 years old she already knew she'll be a jeweller. At primary school she had a task: "Write down what you would like to be in the future!". She did. Jeweller. "Easy task." - she thought. Her teacher told one is not enough... "Write at least one more profession!". "Ooops! Now this is a really hard task for me..." - she felt. So, she wrote something, but deep inside she knew the other one doesn't count, it is only for this school-thing...

✿ Now she is making jewelry, mostly earrings. To be honest, she LOVES earrings. And necklaces as well. Earrings are always her No. 1.

✿ Bridal jewelry-creating started a few month ago for her, as 2 of her friends planed to getting married... When she received the invitation one thing was on her mind: what should she give them as a wedding gift? After chatting with the bride (Agnes) - she told everything about her dress and hair style plans - Dorottya decided to design a set for Agnes. She is a fresh wife already and was wearing her SenoritaJoya's earrings and necklace proudly on her big day. ♥
Living happily ever after.

Have fun!
xoxo
p.s.: I'm pretty new in blogging, so your kind comments are welcome! Thanks!!! <3
