What an Etsy Thursday! :)

Saturday, March 1, 2014

Hi Lovelies,

I had an amazing Thursday this week on Etsy... On 27th February my little shop on Etsy had such a great number of views that even Etsy sent me an e-mail to let me know - something is about to happening right now.

Exciting news: We've noticed an increase in visits to one of your listings. A spike in traffic might mean that your item is being featured on Etsy or somewhere else online. Take a peek at where that traffic is coming from.

And yes, I've found out by checking my shop statistics that one of my item has so many views and hearts that there have to be a featuring for it somewhere... I could only find that sweet treasury could this be which was curated by Yann Photographer (Paris) a day before: you cab check out this romantic treasury list here. And yes, it was a front page treasury for sure - even if I could not see it. It called "history of magic" and has a dreamy mood which is my all time fav!!! I'd like to say thank you Yann for selecting my ivory bridal hair comb to this sweet dreamy collection!

...and I'm sure that this success can happen in great part due to my beautiful model, Fruzsi - who wears my hair comb like a queen. The dreamiest young lady I ever met :)

Handmade DIY Wedding Invitation

Monday, July 8, 2013

Hi Lovelies,

Here is my handmade DIY Wedding Invitation project in pictures :)
If you'd have questions I'd be happy to answer about this home made project!

You'll need these to make something like this invitation:
  • folded craft paper (I've used this: Rössler A/6 karton 2 részes 105x148mm, 220 grams)
  • washi tapes - choose 3 or 4 patterns you like, in 2 main colors
  • tiny cotton tread in matching colors (I've used pink and white)
  • strong silky cotton string for the bunting (I've used pink and orange, but one color can do as well)
  • a sharp scissor
  • a sharp blade
  • paper puncher (I've used heart shaped)
  • stamp (I've used small butterfly shaped, letters and some cool vintage looking patterns)
  • ink (I've used vibrant yellow, gold and pastel pink)
  • needle - a huge one :) which you can use for the strong silky cotton string (the base of the bunting)
  • cellotape - to fix the ending parts of strings and ribbon
  • 6 mm wide ribbon - I've used pink and white
  • rustic raffia string
  • brown gift paper - 1-1 stripe for each set holding the finished invitation cards under the rustic raffia string and bow
  • ombre heart invitation template from WeddingChicks
  • laser printer
  • double sided tape
  • glue
  • and patience - hihi ;)

Enjoy your day, xoxo

Dreamy Wedding Vendor Collaboration Photo Shoot

Tuesday, May 14, 2013

Hi Lovelies :)

I was away for a while as my wedding organization needed me... ;)

Now I'd like to share a great collaboration I've had in May:
Detti of Abstract Event Planning invited SenoritaJoya to take part in a dramy wedding vendor collaboration photo shoot and I submitted the full suite for my Vintage Dreamy design to be used. They picked two bridal hair accessories from it. Here are a few of the awesome images Adrienn from Hornyák Adrienn Photography captured! :)

Two werk pictures just for fun:

Plus a bonus pic...
Make up artist Gabi Lukéj put on SenoritaJoya's Hot Pink Vintage Style Set of earrings and necklace, maybe it was love at first sight... ;)

Thanks for each participiants for the great contribution!

Enjoy your day! xoxo
